» Drivers
Drivers must be 21 years of age or over.
Those drivers aged between 21 and 23 inclusive, must pay an additional tariff of €8.90/day up to a maximum of €89.00. Any additional driver must pay an additional tariff of €3.00/day up to a maximum of €50.00. For Group L to Group O vehicles, drivers must be over 30 years of age and have a valid credit card.
» Insurance
Rental prices include unlimited third party and fire insurance. In the event of fire, the customer will pay a variable fee depending on the group of car hired. Accidents caused by dangerous driving, excessive speed, driving under the influence of alcohol or psychotropic substances invalidate any insurance.
- CDW – Comprehensive Damage Waiver – by way of the payment of an additional daily rate, the fee is reduced in the event of accident, collision, overturning or any other damage to the vehicle.
- TP – Theft Provision – This service covers responsibility in the event of theft in total or in part of the vehicle through the payment of an additional daily rate. The customer is obliged to report the theft to the police and present the original key to the vehicle.
- PAI – Personal Accident Insurance – Covers medical expenses up to the sum of €1000.00 and compensation in the event of death or permanent disability up to a maximum of €10,000.00.
» Deposit
Upon hiring any vehicle, the customer must leave a deposit as security which is variable depending on the vehicle. Any deposit will be refunded on the return of the vehicle provided it is found in the same conditions as when it was given to the customer.
» Fuel
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank, for which the customer is required to leave a deposit of €75.00 which is refunded on the proviso that the vehicle is returned with a full tank. Should the tank not be full, the customer will pay an l fee of €12.00 in addition to the missing fuel.
» Collection and return
Free within Lisbon during office hours (Monday to Friday, from 09.00 to 19.00). Outside these times, the customer will pay an additional fee of €20.00.
